Letter to his son, William, discussing his land mortgages and the payment of his debts. He desires that the payment of a loyalist debt through the confiscation of his estates be done in accordance with the laws of New York State and that money left over should be given to Mr. Cuyler's heirs. He appeals to the expertise of Mr. McEvers to do all that can be done and asks his son to keep him informed. Written at London, England.
